Air Preparation
Correct compressed air preparation is essential for optimum performance of your pneumatic ring-main and equipment. IMI Norgren are experts in the FRL arena, where our ranges have been at the forefront of industry for many years. Our product ranges, including Olympian Plus and Excelon Plus, are available from individual to combination units.
Combination Units
IMI Norgren box sets offer an ideal solution as they come pre-assembled with filter/regulator, lubricator, shut-off valve, pressure gauge, and mounting brackets, ensuring quick and easy installation.
Filter Regulators
The IMI Norgren filter-regulator unit is our most popular standalone compressed air preparation unit. The filter-regulator combines precise pressure adjustment with removal of large amounts of water (moisture) and solid contaminants in a single unit, with 5 or 40 micron filtration grades.
Filters
General purpose filters remove water droplets and solid contaminants with 5 or 40 micron filtration grades. Oil removal filters provide filtration of oil droplets and fine particles down to 0.01 micron.
Regulator
Our range includes general purpose pressure regulators, high-flow pressure regulators, pilot-operated pressure regulators, and special-purpose pressure regulator solutions, ensuring the right choice for every industrial and automation application.
Lubricator
Our range includes two types of pneumatic lubricators to suit different application requirements. Standard oil-fog lubricators are designed for heavy-duty, high air consumption applications, while micro-fog lubricators are ideal for long pipelines and complex, precision pneumatic circuits.
Pressure Relief Valve
Pressure relief valves protect compressed air systems by preventing overpressure, thereby enhancing personal safety and equipment reliability. These valves automatically release excess pressure when the operating value exceeds the set limit.
Soft Start Dump Valves
The electrically operated version, known as a dump valve, isolates the main air pressure and safely exhausts residual pressure from the system, similar to the manual version. The soft start dump valve extends this function with a controlled restart that gradually builds up pressure in the system, reducing the risk of sudden movements and machine damage. Both standard dump valves and soft start dump valves are available with pneumatic (pilot-operated) actuation, allowing flexible integration into various industrial and automation applications.
